Build your own BattleBot and send it into the arena!

Following the summer BattleBots Bootcamp, we’re continuing the program during the school year. This time, it will take the form of four consecutive afternoon workshops. Every Wednesday in October, you’ll take another step forward, and by the end, you’ll have your own combat robot ready for battle.

Here’s what you can expect during the series:

• October 7 – Introduction to BattleBots and Modeling
We’ll introduce you to the world of BattleBots, the basic principles of their construction, and you’ll get started on your first robot design.

• October 14 – Robot Modeling
You’ll focus on designing and modeling individual parts of the robot and prepare everything needed for further production.

• October 21 – 3D Printing, Components, and Soldering
You’ll learn about 3D printing, the robot’s basic components, and try your hand at soldering.

• October 28 – Robot Construction and Arena Battle
You’ll finish building your BattleBot, wire everything up, and test it out at the end.

The individual workshops build on one another, so you’ll need to plan to attend the entire series. The goal is to go through the entire process from design to a finished battle robot while continuing to expand the BattleBot community in Pilsen.

The workshops will take place on October 7, 14, 21, and 28, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM each day.
