Event description
Want to start a business, but accounting is a big unknown for you?
This workshop will give you a quick and clear foundation so you don’t get lost. No unnecessary theory or boring lectures—just practical information that you can really use in your business. You’ll learn what to do when starting your business and what to watch out for so that you’re not caught off guard right from the start. Things that weren’t clear to you before will suddenly make sense, and you’ll have answers that will make you feel much more confident about running your business.
Jan Setikovský graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and, after two years working for an auditing firm, he switched sides and has been working in accounting for ten years. From sole traders with 12 invoices a year, to small businesses and large companies with turnovers in the millions. He manages payroll for clients, processes accounting/tax records, and files VAT and income tax returns. Of course, he always strives to ensure that the resulting tax liability is acceptable to clients.
