personal and business finances, financial literacy, healthy foundations for entrepreneurship, orientation in personal and business finances, understanding the difference between income and cash flow, and establishing financial habits that make sense in the long term

Maria Šimůnková is the founder of the non-profit organization Nekrachni, which helps young people navigate the world of finance and become financially mature without unnecessary complications. Her work arose from her own experience with the lack of practical financial education in schools and quickly grew into a project using a mobile app, interactive materials, and modern communication channels to make financial literacy understandable, engaging, and accessible to Generation Z. Maria, together with her team, strives to help young people learn to understand their money, plan their budget, deal with everyday financial situations, and set long-term financial goals. In addition, she is a student of economic research at CERGE-EI and enjoys digging through school data.
