Event description

The Largest High School Festival in the Pilsen Region.

Deciding where to go after elementary school doesn’t have to be complicated. “Shine a Light on Your Future” is the largest high school festival in the Pilsen Region, held annually in Pilsen. It helps students navigate the array of high schools across the region, discover new opportunities, and take the first step toward choosing the right school and setting their future course.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2026 at the modern facilities of the TechTower technology park.

  • When: November 5–7, 2026
  • Where: TechTower, Pilsen
  • Admission: FREE

What can you look forward to at the festival?

Dozens of high schools—from academic high schools to vocational high schools and trade schools—will be presented all in one place.

This will allow you to:

  • Explore the full range of programs available in the region.
  • Talk directly with teachers and students from each school.
  • Discover what you truly enjoy and clarify where you want to direct your future.

Festival Schedule and Registration

To ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone is as comfortable as possible, the program is divided into three days:

November 5–6, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Reserved for elementary schools

These days are intended for organized groups of elementary school students accompanied by teachers.

Registration is required on the website: www.posvitsinabudoucnost.cz

November 7, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: For parents and their children

Saturday is for families. Come explore further education options together, have fun with school representatives, and plan your next steps.

Admission: free and no registration required.

The organization of the festival is funded by the project “Implementation of the Pilsen Region’s Long-Term Education Plan” (reg. no. CZ.02.02.XX/00/23_018/0009173), and its methodological support is provided by the project “Shine a Light on a Future Without Prejudice” (CZ.03.01.02/00/22_020/0000863), both of which are co-financed by the European Union.
