The Principal’s Café – Inspiration, Sharing, and Practical Tips from a Special Education Teacher

  • 19. June
  • 10:00

Event description

How can special education teachers support a smooth transition for children from preschool to elementary school?

Come relax and find inspiration in a friendly environment

We invite you to the informal and inspiring setting of the Principals’ Café—a space for taking a break, open sharing, and collaboratively exploring current topics in elementary education.

At the Principals’ Café, we explore current topics, discuss them, and learn from one another. We inspire, debate, and support one another as leaders in the field of education.

This time, we will focus on the role of the special education teacher during children’s transition from preschool to first grade — a topic that is increasingly relevant in light of innovations in the School Educational Program (ŠVP) and changes in preschool and elementary education.

Mgr. Eliška Pilíková, a special education teacher at 25th Elementary School in Plzeň, has accepted our invitation. She will present a functional system of cooperation within the school and with kindergartens and share specific practical experiences. Together, we will explore the following topics:

the role of the special education teacher within the school team,
early identification of children at risk of academic failure,
communication with parents and planning support for the child.

The meeting will include time for questions, sharing experiences, and group discussion. We believe that the atmosphere at the innovative TechTower center will foster openness, inspiration, and a meaningful professional gathering.

Who is this meeting intended for?

For elementary school administrators, special education teachers, and kindergarten administrators.

When and where:
