Event description

Learn how to prepare for and conduct a podcast interview that keeps listeners engaged. From asking the right questions to the practical aspects of recording with your own guest.

How do you prepare for a podcast interview? What questions should you ask, which ones should you avoid, and how do you get interesting answers from your guest? You’ll cover all of this in a hands-on workshop with host, emcee, and podcaster Stanislav Jurík.

The workshop is divided into two two-hour sessions. During the first session, you’ll receive practical advice and tips on how to prepare for the interview, work with the topic and the guest, and lead the conversation in a way that’s engaging for listeners.

You’ll then have two weeks to prepare your own podcast interview with a guest. In the second part, you’ll put everything into practice and together analyze the resulting interviews, discussing their strengths and areas for improvement.

What will you take away from the workshop?

  • How to prepare for an interview and conduct thorough research.
  • How to craft questions that lead to interesting answers.
  • What types of questions are best avoided.
  • How to respond to a guest and naturally keep the conversation flowing.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and hosting your own podcast.
  • Feedback and tips for future episodes.

The workshop is suitable for beginner podcast creators as well as anyone who wants to improve their interviewing skills.

Workshop capacity is limited.
