Event description
Find out where vulnerabilities in websites and applications lurk, how to safely detect them, and how to prevent them during the development process itself.
What kinds of issues can arise on a website or in an application? Using practical examples, we’ll explore selected vulnerabilities from the OWASP Top 10 and explain why they occur and how to prevent them. We’ll examine websites from the perspective of developers, penetration testers, and automated security tools. We’ll also demonstrate how security is addressed during development through code reviews, dependency management, and DevSecOps. And because finding bugs isn’t enough, we’ll also explore bug bounties, responsible vulnerability reporting, and the legal boundaries of security testing.
